Good to know

  1. The tour includes a lot of driving, particularly across the high Atlas Mountains and on the last day from Merzouga to Fes. We recommend booking a 5 or 6-day desert tour if you don’t want to spend too much time in the car.
  2. Due to bad weather (Ex: rain, Sand storm), it is possible that you will miss the sunset, sunrise, or a part of the camel ride.
  3. The camel excursion is not recommended for pregnant women, anyone over the age of 70, or people with back problems.
  4. We usually stop in restaurants that provide fresh food, so it is possible to have lunch at touristy places. You can ask your driver to take you anyplace at any time if you prefer to book a restaurant on your own.

We will stop and enjoy the Atlas's impressive scenery, Berber villages, and for a coffee or tea break in a small restaurant with a view of the mountains. We will continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a magnificent Kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many Hollywood films such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones, among others, were shot there. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, also known as the "Holywood of Africa." We will visit its film studios and Taourirt Kasbah, a historic fortified residence, and then to Skoura, Mgouna Valley (Roses Valley), and other Berber villages before reaching Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a hotel. We will continue our journey more to the south, passing by the Saharian Oasis. Depending on when we arrive at Merzouga, you will have time to rest before getting on the camel who will take you on a desert adventure into the dunes, where you will spend the night in a tent. After an hour of riding the camels, you will arrive at the camp, where you'll be greeted with a cup of tea while admiring the Sahara and the sunset. Dinner will be later at the camp's restaurant tent, followed by the music of Berber drums played by locals around the campfire. Don't forget to hike the dunes nearby, where you'll see the sky with millions of stars. Remember that the bonfire is during the colder months (at night), and no sand storms. Our first stop will be at the seasonal lake of Merzouga known as Dayet Srij and, where we can see some flamingos and other birds with dunes in the background. The next stop is at Khamlia village, where the people are original from Sudan and Mali. We will stop to listen and dance to the rhythms of the African Music, which know as Gnawa music (optional), before continuing to M'fis. An old French village where we will discover some mineral and fossil mines. From there, we'll drive to a small hill with a panoramic and clear view of the dunes on one side and the Moroccan-Algerian border on the other. You'll have time to go fossil hunting before starting our journey to the nomad families who live in Berber-style tents on the feet of the Erg Chebbi dunes. We'll learn about their way of living and everyday routine. Following our tour, we will take a break in one of their tents to enjoy a cup of mint tea or a delicious Berber pizza for lunch (optional) before we continue driving off-road on the Dakar Rally road. We will be stopping at a desert oasis before returning to the hotel in Merzouga. After a short break, you can take a walk to the village or surrounding dunes to admire the peaceful sunset. Awesome tour from Marrakech to Fes
We have just finished an awesome four day tour travelling from Marrakech to Fes with our guide Ahmed. We had a great time being shown all the sites of Morocco and Ahmed was amazing always going over and above for us. Our highlight was spending the couple of days in the desert, enjoying the sunrise and sunset and seeing how the nomads and berbers live their life in Morocco. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an adventure getting out of the big cities and experiencing true morocco. A big thanks to Ahmed for making our trip so memorable!!

Spectacular!!!
The trip was spectacular, not only for the amazing places we visited, such as the Todra Gorges or the Valley of the Roses, The Sahara desert...etc. But also for the magnificent treatment we received from our guide, Hassan, a charming person, super animated and with a lot of knowledge, which made our trip very enjoyable despite the hours we spent in the car. It was an unforgettable experience and we will do it again, and for sure with this company :)

The highlight of Morocco
My husband and I just returned from a trip to Morocco with Hassan. I can't say enough positive words about our time with him. He was not only getting us safely anywhere but also making excellent suggestions for restaurants, shopping, and so on. He also invited us to his apartment to visit his family and have dinner with them. His wife allowed us to try on her expensive jellabas, which was a real treat.

Unforgettable experience
We were lucky to have Omar as our tour guide for this four-days from Marrakech to Fes. Usually, I don't use guides as I'm experienced and well-traveled, but given how foreign Morocco sounded, a local travel agency was needed. All in all, it was a great and memorable experience.

Amazing 4-days from Marrakech to Fes
By booking with this company, my wife made the right decision. We had a fantastic time working with Hassan and his local team. They all work hard to provide the best service possible, and the accommodations they booked were fantastic. What I would say is that I would highly recommend them.
