Join us on this 14-day tour through Morocco, visiting the Imperial Cities, the Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara Desert. Start in Marrakech, a lively city full of history, then travel through the beautiful Atlas Mountains. You’ll see old kasbahs and small villages, and meet local nomad families. Visit the stunning Todra Gorges, and enjoy a night in the Sahara Desert under the stars.
The tour also includes visits to beautiful waterfalls and the coastal town of Essaouira, famous for its old town. Discover the peaceful blue streets of Chefchaouen, a town in the Rif Mountains. On this trip, you’ll experience Morocco’s amazing nature, rich culture, and unique history. This tour offers an unforgettable adventure through both the northern and southern parts of Morocco.
When you arrive, our driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. You will have the day to relax and explore Jemaa el Fnaa square and the local markets (souks).
Today, you can choose to join a private guided tour of the Marrakech Medina. You will visit famous places like the Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina, and its markets. You will also see the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens. Stay the night in a traditional Riad in the Medina.
Leave Marrakech and head to the coastal town of Essaouira, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a scenic drive with views of argan oil cooperatives. In Essaouira, explore the fishing port, beaches, and old city (medina). Overnight stay in Essaouira.
Travel from Essaouira to Oualidia, stopping in Safi. Safi is known for pottery and sardine exports. Arrive in Oualidia, a peaceful seaside village. You can relax and enjoy activities like birdwatching, fishing, and water sports.
Continue your journey to Rabat, passing through El Jadida and Casablanca. In Casablanca, visit Mohammed V Square and the Hassan II Mosque. In Rabat, see the Royal Palace, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya Kasbah.
Drive from Rabat to Tangier, stopping in Asilah, a coastal town with white houses and colorful murals. In Tangier, explore the old city (medina) and enjoy beautiful views where the Mediterranean and Atlantic Oceans meet.
Drive to Chefchaouen, a village in the Rif Mountains famous for its blue-painted houses. Walk through its narrow streets, visit local markets, and relax in the town’s peaceful atmosphere.
From Chefchaouen, drive to the Roman ruins at Volubilis and then to Meknes, an imperial city. Stop for lunch and visit historical sites, including the Bab el Mansour gate and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. Afterward, head to Fes for the night.
Explore Fes, the intellectual capital of Morocco. Visit the old town, Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage site with many narrow streets. You can also visit the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world. See the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and the Ville Nouvelle area.
Leave Fes and drive towards Merzouga. Pass through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys. Stop for lunch in Zaida. Continue through the Atlas Mountains and reach Merzouga, where you will stay overnight.
Visit the village of Khamlia to learn about the music and lifestyle of the people there. Then, take a camel ride into the desert to explore the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a traditional Berber tent, enjoying dinner under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, ride your camel back to the hotel and head towards Todra Gorges. Stop at Erfoud and Tineghir for photos and views, then enjoy a hike in the gorges. Continue to Boumalne du Dades.
Drive through Skoura and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Visit the Atlas Film Studios and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. After lunch, drive through the High Atlas Mountains and pass through the Tizi N’tichka pass on your way back to Marrakech.
Our driver will take you from your hotel to the airport. This marks the end of your 14-day tour in Morocco.
