When you arrive, you are welcomed and taken to your hotel. If your flight comes early enough, you can go out to see the Hassan II Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in the world. It sits right on the Atlantic Ocean, and its tall minaret can be seen from far away. A short walk by the seaside Corniche will give you a first taste of Moroccan life before you rest for the night.

The next morning, you leave Casablanca and drive to Rabat, the country’s capital. Here you will see the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. A walk inside the Kasbah of the Udayas shows you narrow streets with blue-and-white houses looking out over the ocean. After exploring Rabat, the journey continues north along the Atlantic coast until you reach Tangier. In the evening, you can wander through Tangier’s medina or enjoy the modern Corniche by the sea.

Your third day starts with visits to Tangier, a city that has always been a meeting point between Africa and Europe. You will stop at the Hercules Caves, a place full of stories from history and myth, and at Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea come together.
After lunch, the road climbs into the Rif Mountains until you reach Chefchaouen, the famous blue town. Walking through its streets painted in shades of blue feels peaceful and magical. Many travelers enjoy sitting in the main square with a cup of mint tea while listening to local music.

On the following day, you leave the Rif Mountains and drive toward the imperial city of Meknes. This city once served as Morocco’s capital and still has grand gates and palaces. You will pass through El Hedim Square and the famous Bab Mansour gate. After Meknes, you continue to Volubilis, the most important Roman site in Morocco.
Here you will see ruins of temples, columns, and beautiful mosaics that are almost two thousand years old. Later in the afternoon, you arrive in Fes, where you stay in a traditional riad inside the old medina.

The whole of the next day is dedicated to Fes. The city is like a living museum and one of the most complete medieval cities in the world. As you walk through its endless alleys, you see artisans working with leather, metal, and wood just as they have done for centuries.
The old University of Al Quaraouiyine is one of the oldest in the world, and the Chouara Tanneries show how hides are still dyed by hand in big, colorful vats. The medina is full of energy, and every turn reveals a new surprise, from madrassas with stunning carvings to hidden fountains.

From Fes, the road takes you south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop is Ifrane, a clean and green town often called “Little Switzerland” because of its alpine-style houses. Then you enter Azrou’s cedar forest, where Barbary apes can often be seen climbing in the trees. The drive continues through Midelt and down toward the desert, passing landscapes that change from green valleys to rocky plains.
By evening, you reach Merzouga, right at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here camels wait to carry you into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets over the golden sand, the desert becomes quiet and magical. You spend the night in a camp under a sky filled with stars.

The next day is dedicated to life in the desert. After watching the sunrise, you visit nomadic Berber families who still live in tents, moving with their herds. They share their simple way of life and tea with visitors.
Along the way, you pass through abandoned villages and fossil-filled landscapes. In the afternoon, you can relax or take another camel ride to the dunes for another unforgettable sunset before returning to your camp or hotel in Merzouga.

Leaving the desert, you drive toward Tinghir and the impressive Todra Gorges. The high cliffs rise on both sides, and a small river runs through the narrow valley, making it a favorite place for hikers and climbers.
You continue through the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, and then the Valley of Roses, which blooms with roses in the spring and produces famous rose water. By evening, you arrive in Ouarzazate, a city often called the “Hollywood of Morocco” because many movies were filmed here.

From Ouarzazate, the journey continues to Taroudant. On the way, you stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage kasbah that looks like a sandcastle made of clay. It has been used as a backdrop for many films and series.
After exploring, you drive across the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Taroudant, known as “Little Marrakech.” The city is surrounded by red walls and has lively markets filled with spices, crafts, and traditional goods.

Your next destination is the coastal town of Sidi Ifni. After a morning stroll in Taroudant, you head south and soon arrive at the ocean. Sidi Ifni was once under Spanish rule, and its streets are lined with buildings in Art Deco style, giving it a different character from other Moroccan towns. The calm atmosphere and ocean breeze make it a relaxing stop.

From Sidi Ifni, the road follows the Atlantic coast north. You stop in Agadir, a modern seaside city, where you can walk along the beach promenade and enjoy fresh seafood. A full day in Marrakech with a local guide is a wonderful way to see the city’s highlights and learn about its culture. The day usually begins in Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square, and at the nearby Koutoubia Mosque, with its famous tall minaret. From there, you explore Bahia Palace with its beautiful gardens and decorated rooms, and the Saadian Tombs, known for their colorful tiles and rich history. Around midday, you stop for a traditional Moroccan lunch in a riad or local restaurant, enjoying dishes like tagine or couscous with mint tea.
In the afternoon, the guide takes you through the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter, before visiting the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an old Islamic school admired for its fine carvings and tile work.
