What should I know about the 7-days from Casablanca?

  1. Morocco has extreme weather changes. Days can be very hot, especially in the desert, while nights get surprisingly cold, even freezing in winter. Pack light clothes for daytime, but include warm layers for evenings. Cities like Chefchaouen and mountainous areas tend to stay cooler year-round.
  2. This tour covers long distances with some driving days lasting 4-6 hours through beautiful mountain scenery. The roads can be winding, so motion sickness medication might help if you’re sensitive. Rest assured, the stunning views make the journey worthwhile.
  3. You’ll enjoy delicious Moroccan food like tagines (slow-cooked stews), couscous, and fresh bread. Vegetarian options are easy to find, while vegans may need to plan some meals ahead. Always drink bottled water to stay safe.
  4. Your desert camp offers a comfortable and authentic experience. Expect proper beds and basic bathrooms – the real luxury is the incredible blue sky and the millions of stars.
  5. While credit cards work in hotels, cash (Moroccan dirhams) is essential for markets, small restaurants, and desert areas. Withdraw money in cities before traveling to remote locations.

Amazing 7-Day Tour of Morocco

My friends and I went on a private 7-day tour of Morocco starting from Casablanca and ending in Marrakech. We visit Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, the Sahara desert, Atlas Mountains and spent few days in Marrakech. The hotels they booked for us were clean and with good location and our guide Omar was amazing.
