Take a day trip from Marrakech to the stunning Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful natural places in Morocco. Located in the Atlas Mountains, the waterfalls drop 110 meters into a green valley, often creating colorful rainbows. It’s a perfect trip for people who love nature and quiet places.
Enjoy a walk through olive groves and small Berber villages on the way to the falls. You may even see friendly monkeys playing in the trees. At the bottom of the falls, feel the cool mist, take great photos, or ride a small boat to get closer to the water.
This trip is perfect for relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. Whether you want a peaceful day or a bit of adventure, the Ouzoud Waterfalls will give you an unforgettable experience.

There are local restaurants with beautiful views of the falls. Most offer traditional Moroccan dishes.
Just 170 km from Marrakech, you can enjoy a wonderful day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in North Africa. On sunny days, you can even see rainbows around the falls!
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech around 08:00 AM and start driving north to Ouzoud. Along the way, you’ll pass through peach, apricot, and olive farms, as well as traditional Berber villages.
Once we arrive in Ouzoud, you’ll go on a scenic hike through the village and nearby olive groves. You’ll enjoy the fresh air, green valley views, and the sound of the waterfall. Then, we’ll walk down a path from the top to the bottom of the waterfall. This part can be a bit challenging, but it’s worth it! You’ll see the water crashing down from 100 meters high, creating a stunning view—often with a rainbow in the middle.
As you walk down, you might see friendly Barbary apes who are used to visitors and may even ask for some nuts. At the bottom of the waterfall, you can relax, take photos, swim, or enjoy a short boat ride close to the falls. You’ll also have the chance to eat lunch at a local restaurant near the stream.
After your relaxing break, we’ll walk back up where the driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech.
